Saxophonist Doug Webb

Doug Webb is a well known sax player in the L.A. jazz community.  Having played with such diverse artists as Horace Silver and Freddie Hubbard to Rod Stewart and Queen Latifah Doug has a well rounded perspective on jazz and the music world. 

Doug plays for us and we play an amazing piece by composer Ladd McIntosh called Jellistico which features Doug on 50 different woodwind instruments from his collection of 1000.

Performed with: Jazz Round Table #14 Bio – Doug Webb received a Bachelor of Music from Berklee College of Music. He is featured on hundreds of recordings for artists including Horace Silver, Freddie Hubbard, Sal Marquez, Stanley Clarke, Brian Bromberg, Quincy Jones, Mat Marucci, Bobby Caldwell, Kyle Eastwood, Rod Stewart, Carly Simon, Art Garfunkel, Queen Latifah and Cher. He played for fifteen years with the Doc Severinsen Tonight Show Big Band. He has recorded music for hundreds of movies and television programs, including playing for the Family Guy orchestra.
